Part One: Submit Your Inquiry
- Custom Garment Initiation Fee: A $50 fee ensures our team dedicates time to your custom apparel project.
- Form Submission: Provide details about your vision, quantity, item specifics, design sketches, and deadlines using our online form for the most accurate quote.
Part Two: Receive Your Quote
- Quick Response: Expect a detailed quote within 5 business days.
- Clarifications: We may reach out for additional details to ensure accuracy.
Part Three: Payment Options
- Full Payment or 50% Deposit: Choose between full payment upfront or a 50% deposit with the balance due in 4 weeks.
- Group/Individual Payments: One single group payment is preferred; However, individual payments are available and require full upfront payment (there's no 50% deposit option for individual payments). 'Pay in 4' or financing options require full invoice payment.
Part Four: Design Process
STANDARD DESIGN PROCESS
- Design Phase: Once your order is placed, our designers will create a mock-up as part of your purchase. We do not provide free mock-ups before payment to protect our creative work.
- Feedback & Revisions: After receiving your mock-up, you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback. Adjustments can be made to refine the design to your vision, including two rounds of revisions. Additional rounds will incur additional fees.
Premium Design Services (Add-ons)
- Mock-up Service: If you'd like to see a mock-up before committing to an order, you can purchase a non-refundable design mock-up starting at $150, depending on complexity. This service applies to standard customizations (think line jacket placement) and does not go toward your final order.
- Garment Design Service: For garments that go beyond standard customizations, you’ll have the exclusive opportunity to collaborate directly with Danielle, Founder of DVN, on a design tailored to your vision. Her design services start at $650, which includes two rounds of revisions to ensure every detail is refined to perfection. Additional revision rounds start at $150 each, depending on complexity. Custom illustrations or detailed graphic work are not included in this fee. While small, simple logos may be incorporated, any garment design requiring custom artwork will incur additional graphic design fees.
- Custom Graphics: Original logos and specialty graphics are available for $100–$350+ per design. Complex illustrations start around $200 per graphic. If you purchase a mock-up before placing an order, any custom artwork fees must also be paid upfront.
Part Five: Production and Delivery
- Production Timeline: Please allow 8-12 weeks for production after design approval, plus shipping time.
- Updates: Our production team is wholly dedicated to meticulously crafting your custom garments. During this phase, we provide limited updates, as our focus is on ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail for each piece.
- Shipping: Items are shipped from our international garment factory to our USA Studio, then to you. All invoiced custom order shipments include signature confirmation and insurance.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DISCLOSURE (IP)
All designs, graphics, and mock-ups created by DVN remain our exclusive intellectual property. Clients are not permitted to replicate, modify, or reproduce our designs with another company or manufacturer. Unauthorized use of DVN designs—whether in part or in full—will result in legal action.
We take the protection of our creative work seriously and will actively pursue enforcement, including but not limited to cease-and-desist orders, financial penalties, and legal proceedings.

While the design is crafted specifically for your garment, DVN retains the rights to all graphics and designs used. Using or replicating our designs with other companies is strictly prohibited.
It's important to understand that paying a fee for the creation of a design does not transfer ownership of the design itself. The fee covers the cost of creating a unique design for your garment, but DVN retains all intellectual property rights. This means the design cannot be reused, copied, or commercially exploited without our permission. By retaining these rights, we ensure that our creative work remains unique and exclusive, maintaining the integrity and originality of our brand and your custom apparel.
The timeframe for receiving a quote varies based on the clarity of your vision during the initial discovery phase. Generally, you can expect to hear back from us within 3-5 business days after submitting your inquiry. However, the length of time it takes to craft the final quote depends on how detailed and clear your initial vision is. Each quote is custom crafted to suit the specifics of your project, as we don't offer generic pricing. Every custom item is built to quote, ensuring a tailored and personalized approach to meet your unique needs.
Yes, you can request a design mock-up for a non-refundable fee of $150. This fee will be deducted from your order balance if you proceed with the order. Additionally, if your order requires custom graphics, a separate non-refundable design fee for these graphics will also be required. Both fees are part of the initial design phase and contribute to the overall development of your custom garment.
The design phase can take 2-4 weeks, possibly longer for more complex orders, and production typically requires 8-12 weeks. Shipping should allow at least 1-1.5 weeks for delivery. Planning well in advance is recommended.
We provide limited updates during production as our team is focused on crafting your garments. You may not hear from us frequently with step by step production updates, but rest assured, we are diligently working on your order.
No, DVN specializes in bespoke cut and sew garments, so we don't accept items for embroidery or printing. We create each garment from scratch and do not use premade items of any kind.
Changes can be made during the design phase before final approval. Once production has begun, changes are typically not possible. If changes are needed after production starts, additional costs will apply to pause production, revert to the design phase, and revise any necessary artworks. If garments have already surpassed the cutting process, there will be fees for fabric wastage and the cost of cutting new materials for the custom item. Similarly, if the item has already completed embroidery, fees for wastage and new material costs will be incurred.
Yes, we do accept order expediting for garments needed in less than 12 weeks from the current calendar date. Orders requiring delivery in less than 12 weeks are considered rush orders due to our queue and design process. Our rush order fees are as follows:
- 25% surcharge for delivery within 10-12 weeks
- 50% surcharge for delivery within 7-9 weeks
- 100% surcharge for delivery within 4-6 weeks
Please note that expediting an order ensures that your project receives priority attention, but it also involves additional resources and adjustments to our standard workflow to meet the tighter deadlines.
If an order spends an extended amount of time in the design phase, the production process timeline remains fixed. We always keep desired in-hand dates in mind, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates, as the process heavily relies on collaboration and timely feedback. Some clients request more design changes than others, and our goal is to ensure you love the final product.
The only aspect of the timeline we have full control over is the production phase. Therefore, while we strive to meet your desired delivery dates, the collaborative nature of the design process can impact the overall timeline.
- Mock-Up & Design Fees: All design fees, including but not limiited to mock-ups, illustrations, and vectors, are non-refundable.
- Prior to Production: If you decide to cancel your order before production begins, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. For orders paid in full, 50% of the total payment will be retained as a non-refundable deposit.
- In Production: Once production has started, no cancellations or changes can be made, and the entire order amount is non-refundable.
At DVN, we are fully committed to delivering high-quality, custom garments within our anticipated timelines. However, due to the unique and personalized nature of each piece, in no circumstance will we extend a full refund for customized items. Our policy remains as follows:
- The 50% deposit (or is non-refundable, covering the investment in design and setup work.
- Once production begins, the order becomes fully non-refundable, regardless of delivery timing.
